Studio Lina Håkansson
works at the intersection
of design and production,
offering a unique position
to challenge both how
to
design structures
and
how to
structure designs
.
As an experienced paper architect, Lina creates
tailor-made design solutions for lightweight paper
furniture, retail POP and POS displays, large-scale
installations, window staging, trade show booths,
packaging and toys. When designing structures,
the focus is always on balancing creativity and
technical optimization. With years of hands-on
expertise in digital CNC, the studio likes to explore
the possibilities of new, alternative and green
materials as a foundation to new concepts.
STRUCTURING
DESIGNS
Lina’s unique strength lies in the in-depth
understanding of the complete design-print-cut
workflow, allowing her to support every design
with an extensive technical approach. Ecological
concerns such as material selection, waste
minimisation and fitting designs to standard
shipping formats are all part of the design process.
Projects are taken from the first conceptual
sketch to the final production file, relying on an
extensive range of structural and
technical skills
